Israeli soldiers shoot dead five Palestinian policemen

It has been reported that Israeli soldiers have shot dead five Palestinian policemen in the West Bank.

It comes as troops continue their seige of President Yasser Arafat's headquarters.

Earlier today America joined other U.N. Security Council members in calling for the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Ramallah and other Palestinian cities.
