Arafat's HQ destroyed as suicide attack kills 11
Israeli helicopters and gunboats have destroyed the headquarters of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat in Gaza city.
The attack happened just hours after a Palestinian suicide bomber killed 11 and injured more than 50 at a busy cafe in West Jerusalem.
Two Israelis were killed and 50 injured in another attack in northern coastal town of Netanya, when two Palestinian gunmen opened fire at passers-by.
The European Union and the US Government has called on both sides to try and bring an end to the violence, which a spokesman said underlines the importance of this week's visit to the region by special envoy Anthony Zinni.
Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat says they want peace as much as anyone else: "We don't condone the killing of civilians, whether Israelis or Palestinians, I wish that Israel would stop its broken record, and will stop communicating with Palestinians with missiles, with their siege, with their closure."
