Robbers steal €6m from Paris bank vault

A gang of armed robbers has escaped with an estimated €6m after breaking into a bank vault in northern Paris early today.

According to police, the 15-strong team used an explosive device to blow a hole in the back of the building before grabbing six bags of cash, each believed to contain up to €1m.
