Claims of voter intimidation in Zimbabwe

There have been more reports of voter intimidation in Zimbabwe with a week to go before the country goes to the polls.

The Opposition says Government pressure has forced it to call off a key election rally after a series of blockades and violence.

It is reported Opposition supporters have been beaten by soldiers and supporters of President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu PF Party.
