Hindu mobs burn 27 Muslims to death in India
A Hindu mob has burned 27 Muslims to death as they slept in an Indian shanty town this morning in the latest incident in a wave of sectarian violence currently gripping the west of the country.
Around 300 Hindus set fire to the Muslim-dominated Narora shanty town, on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, the commercial capital of Gujarat state. Seven women and eight children were among the dead, while 42 people were taken to hospital.
