British driver killed in classic car race

A 59-year-old British man has died after his car hit another vehicle during a classic motor race in Australia.

A 59-year-old British man has died after his car hit another vehicle during a classic motor race in Australia.

The man, whose name has not been released, was thrown from his 1955 model BRM when it clipped a car and burst into flames.

The race was taking place on Phillip Island off Victoria state's Mornington Peninsula.
