Five killed in attacks in West Bank and Gaza Strip
A suicide bomber has killed himself and two Israelis in an attack near the Kissufim crossing point between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
The Israeli army said the suspected Palestinian militant opened fire on an Israeli vehicle before blowing himself up on a road used by Jewish settlers in the Gaza Strip.
Initial reports said an Israeli man and woman were killed along with the bomber, while three others were injured.
The attack came around two hours after an explosion killed two people at an Israeli roadblock in the West Bank, between Jerusalem and the Jordan Valley.
The mayor of a nearby Jewish settlement said the occupant of a car which was stopped at the checkpoint detonated the blast, killing the person in the car and an Israeli policeman.
