Funeral to take place at Windsor chapel

The funeral of Princess Margaret is to take place on February 15 at 3pm in St George's Chapel, Windsor.

The Royal Family and friends will attend the funeral, which will not be a State occasion.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Princess Margaret's burial at the chapel will continue a royal tradition that dates back more than 500 years. The chapel is in the lower ward of Windsor Castle.

It is considered one of the finest perpendicular buildings in England and a great example of Gothic architecture.

Over the centuries, it has been one of the Royal Family's key places of worship and is the final resting place of 10 former monarchs.
