A tourist was in a critical condition today after he was stung by a potentially deadly peanut-sized jellyfish off Australia’s northeast coast.

The 58-year-old man brushed against the tiny, extremely poisonous Irukandji jellyfish while swimming near Hamilton Island in northern Queensland.
