London train hit buffers

The front carriage of a rush-hour train was derailed in London today after it hit the buffers.

The accident happened at Beckenham Junction in south London where a South Central train from Victoria station in central London was terminating.

Railtrack said some passengers were suffering from shock but it was not known if there were any injuries.
