Afghan Airlines off the ground again

Afghanistan’s national airline made its first international flight today in nearly two-and-a-half years.

Ariana Afghan Airlines’ only Boeing 727 took off from Kabul to New Delhi after a worker clambered up a mobile stairway and used a plastic jug to clean the windscreen.
