Indian security forces say they have repulsed a suicide attack on one of their camps and killed two Islamic militant suspects in the disputed region of Kashmir.

The upsurge in violence comes as Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf begun a crackdown on terrorism aimed at easing tensions with India over Kashmir.
