Bin Laden and Mullah Omar face death penalty
The newly appointed Chief Justice of Afghanistan has said he would give the death sentence to Osama bin Laden and Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar if they were brought before his court.
Chief Justice Shinwari said the two men were responsible for the destruction of Afghanistan and giving a bad name to Islam.
Meanwhile, United States soldiers and anti-Taliban fighters are continuing their search for Bin Laden and Mullah Omar, who have not been seen since the collapse of Taliban rule in November.
