Earthquake shakes Nicaragua and El Salvador

A moderately strong earthquake shook Nicaragua and El Salvador yesterday.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

The 5.4 magnitude tremor was centred off the north west coast of Nicaragua.

The US Geological Survey in Golden, Colorado, reported.

The quakes were left in the capitals of both countries as well as central regions of El Salvador.
