British Prime Minister Tony Blair is due to travel to India and Pakistan today to encourage both countries to pull back from the brink of war.

The old enemies have been massing troops and armaments on the disputed Kashmir border since Islamic militants killed 14 people in an attack on the parliament building in New Delhi on December 13.
