Two dozen militants detained in Pakistan

More than two dozen militants have been detained in Pakistan in a bid to crack down on those believed to be responsible for an attack on the Indian Parliament.

They were arrested following police raids on a number of groups in the city of Karachi.

Two Indian soldiers have also been killed in border clashes with Pakistan. Six more have been wounded in mortar exchanges as the rival nations edge towards all-out war.

Pakistan already arrested a leader of an Islamic militant group, accused of plotting the attack on the Indian Parliament.

The man, Hafiz Saeed, the leader of Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, was arrested in Islamabad. He was charged with making inflammatory speeches and inciting people to violence.

India is supposedly in the process of preparing a list of people wanted in Pakistan for alleged terrorist and criminal acts in India.
