Emergency declared in southwest Nigeria

The Nigerian President has sent troops to restore order in the southwest of the country.

It follows the shooting dead of the justice minister on Sunday.

The decision has been announced after the President held an emergency cabinet meeting with army, navy, air force and police chiefs.
