A Buddhist monk has appeared in court in the UK charged with murder after the discovery of a body in a suitcase outside a railway station.

A Buddhist monk has appeared in court in the UK charged with murder after the discovery of a body in a suitcase outside a railway station.

Thero Nalaka Rathmalane, 35, a Sri Lankan national, went before Basingstoke Magistrates' Court in Hampshire and was remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Friday.
