17 die in road accidents in Pakistan

At least 17 people were killed and several injured in two separate incidents in Pakistan earlier today according to police reports.

Twelve people died and ten more were injured in the southern port city of Karachi when a speeding bus smashed through the safety barrier of a bridge and plunged 150 feet into a dry riverbed.
