Rebels on rampage in Haitian coup

A gang of heavily armed rebels has killed many people after attempting to overthrow Haiti’s government during an attack on the National Palace early today.

The gunmen approached the palace in three pick-up trucks and a jeep before throwing a grenade and opening fire, killing two policemen as they entered.
