Mubarak says there is no alternative to Arafat

There is no alternative to Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and any Palestinian leader would have to support the uprising against Israel, according to Egypt's President.

Hosni Mubarak said any Palestinian leader had to be popular among his people.
