Jury retires in Sarah Payne murder trial

The jury in the Sarah Payne murder trial in Britain has retired to consider its verdict.

Roy Whiting, 42, has denied kidnapping and murdering the schoolgirl in West Sussex in July of last year.

She was abducted on a country lane near her grandparents’ house on July 1. Her body was found in a shallow grave 16 days later.
