United Nations team to discuss peacekeeping force

A small United Nations team has arrived in Kabul to pave the way for an international peacekeeping force.

Peacekeepers are expected to be on the ground in Afghanistan within weeks. A seven-strong UN team will assess whether security conditions are stable enough for the thousands of troops to be sent in.
