Blair: Taliban close to collapse

British Prime Minister Tony Blair says the Taliban is tonight on the verge of collapsing and disintegrating.

He was speaking to reporters at Downing St following reports that the leadership of the regime has agreed to surrender the final outpost of Kandahar.
