Taliban preparing to evacuate Kandahar

The Taliban is reportedly preparing to evacuate its last stronghold in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar and retreat to the surrounding hills.

A local commander said all Taliban officials and fighters have been ordered to ready themselves for evacuation at any moment.
