Hippo drowns six in Zimbabwe

A hippopotamus capsized a boat on Lake Kariba in northern Zimbabwe, drowning five woman and a man, police said today.

Police divers recovered three bodies and were continuing to look for the others in the lake’s crocodile infested waters, said police spokesman Andrew Phiri.
