Fifth teenager to be charged over alleged school murder plot

A 16-year-old boy is expected to be charged today in connection with what US officials claim was a plan to kill teachers and students at a high school in Massachusetts.

He will be the fifth person charged in connection with the alleged plot at the New Bedford school.

Yesterday, a 17-year-old girl, Amy Lee Bowman, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, the same charge facing three other students, 15-year-old Michael McKeehan, 17-year-old Eric McKeehan and 15-year-old Steven Jones.
