Four people have died after a light aircraft they were travelling in crashed into an industrial neighbourhood in eastern Australia today.

Four people have died after a light aircraft they were travelling in crashed into an industrial neighbourhood in eastern Australia today.

The plane crashed shortly after take-off from Toowoomba Airport.

Senior officials from Queensland state’s health department are believed to be among the dead.

The cause of the crash is unknown, but investigators are examining the wreckage for clues.
