At least 10 dead in Swiss air crash

At least 10 people have been killed after a regional Swiss airliner crashed on its landing approach to Zurich Airport.

Of the 33 passengers and crew on board, nine of the injured have been pulled from the wreckage.

Weather conditions were poor when the plane came down last night, but the cause of the crash is not yet clear.

The search for other survivors is continuing and it is feared that they may have wandered in confusion into the nearby woods.
