Children killed in Gaza blast
Two pupils of a Palestinian primary school were killed today in an explosion at a refugee camp.
The two children were killed by Israeli tank fire, a Palestinian security commander said.
The explosion went off near a United Nations school in the Khan Younis refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip.
A bystander, Nabil Abdel Hadi, said he heard the blast, followed by ambulances evacuating casualties from the area.
Two children were killed in the explosion, said Dr Haidar Al-Kidre at Nasser Hospital in the nearby town of Khan Younis.
