16 die in Indian rail crash

At least 16 people were killed and 20 injured today when a locomotive rammed into a stationary passenger train in India’s eastern Bihar state.

Jyoti Kumar Sinha, the state’s deputy police chief, said the collision at Dumri threw two crowded carriages off the track.
