Dame Judi Dench is to receive one of the highest honours of the British film industry by being awarded a Bafta Fellowship, it was announced today.

The Oscar-winning star’s career will be celebrated at a star-studded tribute evening next month attended by figures such as James Bond star Pierce Brosnan, Dame Maggie Smith and Richard E Grant.
