Stray bomb hits mosque killing 62

A stray bomb has struck a mosque in eastern Afghanistan the United States central command has confirmed today.

The bomb hit the mosque in the town Khost on Friday. The Afghan Islamic press has quoted local officials as saying that a total of 62 people were killed in the mosque with a further 34 killed in a nearby religious school.
