Taliban reject claim that bin Laden fled

A Taliban spokesman has refuted claims that Osama bin Laden has fled Afghanistan and is now in Pakistan.

Speaking from Kandahar, Mohamed Tayab Agha described the situation there as ‘‘calm and peaceful’’.
