Britain sends elite soldiers to secure Afghan air base

The British government has sent an elite team of soldiers to secure Bagram air base near the Afghan capital, Kabul.

Officials said their mission is to secure the main road to Kabul, which is currently strewn with landmines, so it can be used to deliver humanitarian supplies.
