Cruise and Kidman settle out of court

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman have settled out of court before what threatened to be an ugly divorce settlement hearing.

After nine months of legal warfare, their Los Angeles lawyers announced that the couple have ‘‘come to an amicable full resolution of all issues. This was done to ensure that the best interests of their children were protected.’’
