Pakistan prevents Taliban fighters from fleeing into country

Hundreds of Pakistani troops have been sent to the border with Afghanistan to prevent Taliban fighters entering the country.

Defence Ministry officials say the troops were sent to reinforce guards near illegal crossing points favoured by smugglers.
