Bush promises to reduce US nuclear arsenal

US President George W Bush has announced that the US will reduce its nuclear arsenal by two-thirds over the next 10 years, leaving the country with between 1,700 and 2,200 nuclear warheads.

Mr Bush made the announcement after a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the White House.
