Italy arrests businessmen with alleged bin Laden links
Italian police have arrested two Egyptian financiers who control a company the US government has claimed is linked to Osama bin Laden’s al Qaida network.
Youssef Nada and Ali Himat are being held by Swiss police just across the border from their homes in Italy.
Nada and Himat control the Nada Management Organisation, which US President George W Bush has added to his list of alleged "terrorist" groups.
The pair are also alleged members of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood, which wants to establish an Islamic state in Egypt.
