Billionaire media mogul Michael Bloomberg has two things to thank for his dramatic electoral comeback: money and Rudolph Giuliani.

Two weeks ago the man who claimed never to have failed at anything in his life stood 16% down in the polls and facing a humiliating landslide defeat.
