Israeli troops use tear gas on students

Israeli troops have fired tear gas and rubber bullets at students demonstrating in Ramallah.

Palestinian and international students were protesting against army road blocks cutting off access to a West Bank University.

The news comes as Palestinian Leader, Yasser Arafat, and Israeli Foreign Minister, Shimon Peres, held a short meeting on the fringes of a conference on the Spanish Island of Majorca.
