21 dead after bus ploughs into mourners in Philippines

At least 21 people died when a passenger bus smashed into a house crowded with mourners attending a wake for a relative, police said today.

Police in the southern Philippine city of Butuan said one bus passenger died instantly, along with the 20 people in the house.
