Israeli troops have withdrawn from the West Bank village of Beit Rima.

Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, has called high level consultations to consider a further pull back from West Bank areas occupied last week.

The sweep through the West Bank village of Beit Rima sparked a gun battle, which left six Palestinians dead.

The Israeli Army said soldiers have arrested Palestinians suspected of involvement in the assassination of Tourism Minister, Rehavam Zeevi.
