Six more US postal workers contract anthrax
Six more US postal workers from the Brentwood sorting office in Washington are reported to have contracted pulmonary anthrax.
The six suspected cases are in a stable condition in hospitals in the Washington area while they await test results.
Separate tests have also confirmed that another mail handler hospitalised in New Jersey yesterday has also contracted the inhaled form of anthrax.
Two workers from the Brentwood office have already died from pulmonary anthrax, while another two are being treated for the disease.
