US confirms two dead postal workers have anthrax

US officials have confirmed that two Washington postal workers whose deaths were being investigated died of pulmonary anthrax.

The two men, who worked in a mail handling area in the Brentwood sorting office, died yesterday, immediately sparking fears that they had inhaled anthrax spores.
