She will play a key figure in a court case after she is given a refund by a matchmaking service.

Mariah is deemed unmatchable.

She will also perform Lead The Way from her new album Glitter on the show.

The episode also stars Jon Bon Jovi, who makes his debut as Ally's new love interest.

It will be shown on US television in January, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Other guest stars lined-up for the new series for Ally McBeal include Elton John, Jacqueline Bisset and Dame Edna Everage.
