Taliban leader's home attacked by US

It has been reported that American raids have targeted residences thought to be occupied by the family of the Taliban religious leader, Mullah Mohammed Omar.

The US say Friday night's ground attacks encountered only light resistance near the preacher's home near Kandahar.
