EU supports US attacks

European Union leaders have delivered their strongest backing yet for the US attacks on Afghanistan.

In a statement after the Ghent summit this evening, the EU said it staunchly supports the bombing of Afghanistan and the goal of eliminating Osama bin Laden’s Al-Qaeda network.
