Taliban challenges US to send in 100,000 troops

Afghanistan’s Taliban regime has challenged the United States to send 100,000 ground troops into the country.

The US confirmed earlier today that it has begun deploying special forces on the ground to aid internal attempts to overthrow the Taliban.
