US and Britain close embassies in Bosnia

The US and Britain have closed their embassies in Bosnia after receiving a “credible security threat”.

The British Embassy in Sarajevo was closed immediately, as was the US Embassy and two other satellite offices in Mostar and Banja Luka.

A spokesman for the NATO force stationed in Bosnia said NATO is aware of the threat but is not taking any new precautions.
